Swimming
Pool
The use of the swimming pool is free to you, your partner
and any children under the age of 16 at any point during the
published opening times. Children between 16 and 18 must have
their own fob in order to use the pool without charge. When
the pool is closed for general swimming, the swimming and
sub aqua section have use of the pool. You can join these
sections although there is an extra charge for this. There
are also Aquacise classes which take place during the week
for a small charge. Any children under the age of twelve must
be accompanied in the pool by an adult at all times and any
children under the age of 16 must have an adult present in
the spectators’ balcony. There is also a limit of two
children to every adult using the pool for safety reasons.

Squash
Courts
The squash courts must be booked in order for you to use them.
To book a court either ask at the front desk or phone the
Club on the number at the bottom of this page. Each session
lasts for 45 minutes, costs £2 and you can only book
one session at a time. |
Snooker Table
The snooker table must also be booked. Each session lasts for
an hour and again you may only book one session at a time. You
pay for the amount of time you require the snooker light for;
however, no-one is allowed to play on the snooker table without
the light. It costs 20p for 8 minutes of light. There are also
specific rules with the snooker room. No children under the
age of 16 are allowed in the room at any time as are any spectators.
A maximum of 4 players may use the table and the door staff
will check the room after it has been used. Any non-accidental
damage caused may result in being banned from playing snooker.

Bar
The Club features 3 bars, the main bar is in the members lounge
and stock a large range of draught beers and lagers, spirits,

of your local pub as they are subsidised by your membership

and the restaurant. |

Function Hall
The Club’s function hall is the venue for the various
events that the Club holds throughout the year. From discos,
children's nights and pantomimes to live acts such as Bobby
Davro, Chas and Dave and Mike Reid, all of whom appeared at
the Club in 2002. The hall can also be hired out for private
parties, weddings and for conferences and seminars. |
Restaurant
The Club’s restaurant, McAllister’s, has only
been running under the Club’s management since late
2001. However it already has a good reputation for excellent
food and service. The opening dates and menus are advertised
just outside the bottom door for the restaurant, however,
we will take A La Carte bookings for 6 or more on any night,
subject to availability. The restaurant can also be hired
out for private occasions. |

cheaper than most pubs. |
