SUB AQUA SECTION
	The Sub-Aqua Section meets every Wednesday Night in the BAE Club pool. We are called Falcon Divers and have approx. 30 members at any one time. The section has its own web site at Falcon Divers

The section owns its own dive boat the “Hobo” which is a 25-foot working boat modified to take 6 divers. It is normally moored at Dover for the dive season.

We normally have two or three weekends away in the year and a longer holiday. Last year, we had weekends away at Brighton , Dartmouth and Pembrokeshire and several members went to the Red Sea .

Cost of Membership

Section Membership (full diving member) -	£70.00 per annum, to be paid in two instalments of £35.00 in April and October Students - reduced rate
Section Membership (family, non diving)	£13.00 per annum

In addition Section members must become a member the Sub Aqua Association of which the section is an affiliated Club (SAA 359). These fees are paid annually in January.

Renewal	£28.00 per annum
New member	£38.00 (includes qualification book)*
Student Member (16+ in full time education)	£22.00 renewal, £32.00 new *
Associate	£17.00

* New novice members will be required to purchase the SAA Diver Manual at an additional cost of £15

Prospective Section Members should contact the above or one of the committee members to arrange a “Try Dive” in the pool. There is a notional charge of £10 for this to cover the cost of air and an information pack (refundable on joining). All diving Members will be required to undergo a diving medical examination or sign a self-certification medical form.
